Here at Prelude studio we offer private one-on-one lessons, small group classes (3-5 beginner students at a time), and home schooled groups both virtual and in person. Monday-Thursday Pamela teachers piano and harp lessons. Friday Gerard teaches piano, guitar, bass, and flute! Don’t hesitate to reach out via the contact button.

Group Classes and Homeschool Groups
Group classes are small groups of 3-5 kids learning the basics of music together in a fun, low pressure environment. We learn new concepts together as a group, play musical games to incorporate our new skills, and move to individual keyboard stations to work on assigned pieces with teacher guidance. The individual practice time allows each student to move at their own pace while observing and working alongside peers. When a piece is ready, we perform it for the group!
The curriculum is designed to help beginners reach all the basic milestones that allows for an easy transition into private lessons. Using Piano Adventures primer lesson book we cover keyboard geography, the musical alphabet, rhythm, music symbols, left vs right hand, ear training, improvisation, recitals, introduction to practice routines, technique, and composers.
